My name is Stacy. My journey into the realm of technology kicked off in the '90s when I began crafting gig posters for my local punk band, sparking my fascination with graphic design. Concert posters led to 'zines, created the old-fashioned way—cutting, pasting and photocopying.
Over the years, I honed my skills through trial and error, diving deeper into graphic design and photography whenever and wherever I had the chance.
The genesis of sftchdsgns emerged as I began designing posters for a local indie wrestling promotion (if you know me, you know that I love wrestling!) Drawing from my background in art and photography, I infused my designs with vibrant, funky concepts, enhancing the organization's branding.

I also manage the ads and Instagram account for a local record shop, The Grooveyard. By integrating my photography and graphic design into our posts, our follower count has grown to the thousands (pretty good for a little ol' local record shop) and has been recognized in multiple PentictonNow "Best of" polls.
In June 2024, I was honored to be recognized by the Penticton Chamber of Commerce in their
Top 40 Over/Under 40 program.
